A Note from Our Youth Director, Shawn Huntley
I am so excited to be back in the Youth Director position and even more excited to be back with our youth! It is a joy and a privilege to walk alongside each of you as you continue growing in your faith. Throughout our time together, I will be here to support, encourage, and celebrate your child, cheering them on as they discover what it means to follow Christ and live out their faith.
We’ll kick off Youth Group on Sunday, August 30, with a pizza party and games! I’m still getting back in the saddle and finding my rhythm, so I’ll have more details and updates for you each week as we get rolling.
In the meantime, invite your friends! Be sure to include anyone who might enjoy being part of our youth group. There is always room for one more around the table, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this year takes us together.

At First Presbyterian Church Boone, youth are a vital part of our church family. We create spaces where middle and high school students can build friendships, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to follow Jesus together.

Youth Group

Youth Group is back, and will begin on Sunday, August 30!
Our middle and high school students will meet together as one youth group. Shawn is looking forward to having everyone back together and creating a space where our youth can connect, have fun, ask questions, and grow in their faith.
4:00pm – Youth group - time to gather, study, play, and grow together
5:00–5:30pm –Dinner and fellowship
Prayer Breakfast is Back!
Our Prayer Breakfast is back for the new school year! We’ll kick things off on Thursday, August 27, at 7:15 a.m. at Chick-fil-A.
If you’re a high school student, I’d love for you to join me for breakfast, fellowship, and a time to start the school day together.
