FMO PLAYGROUND MAINTENANCE:  Help spread gravel and sand in the playground, general cleaning

•HABITAT for HUMANITY: Help build a home for a lower income family. No Construction experience needed!
People needed: 6 - 8
Age Requirement: 18 years and older                      LEADER: Anna Lehman

•HUNGER and HEALTH COALITION: Help HHC staff a booth and hand out food at the Back-to-School Festival
People needed: 6 - 8 LEADER: Guy Rippy  
Age Requirement: Adults, volunteers must be 18 or older and not currently enrolled in Watauga County Schools.

•SINGING for Shut-Ins: sing to shut-ins in our community.

•RAM’S RACK: General cleaning, sorting and organizing at the store

•EXTERIOR PAINTING of a HOME: Help Paint exterior of a home for a family in need – coordinated by Resort Area
Ministries (RAM)

•TRAVIS’ LUNCHBOX/CASTING BREAD FOOD PANTRY: general cleaning, restock and organize pantry
People needed:  6 - 10
Age Requirement: Adults, Youth, & Children (with parent)               LEADER: Cheryl Anderson

•WOOD LOT: Split and stack wood next to Hunger and Health Coalition. Gloves, ear protection, snacks and drinks will be provided—some strenuous exercise involved. Wear old clothes—no open toed shoes. Orientation and safety demonstration provided. A liability release must be signed.

•BACK 2 SCHOOL FESTIVAL: To volunteer, sign up at www.back2schoolfest.org/volunteer.
Also please sign up at the G2S display in the Gathering Space if you plan to join us for lunch at noon.
Age Requirement: volunteers must be 18 or older and not currently enrolled in Watauga County Schools.  

•CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY: Older children are encouraged to serve alongside their parent on an age-appropriate project. Preschoolers will serve by making cards for shut-ins and other activities, and will have play time.
