Lord Jesus, you have pursued us because we can’t live without you. Truth be told, we can’t help ourselves apart from your grace and love in our lives. So often we try to live life on our own, but when troubles come our way, we remember that we aren’t really in control. Lord, forgive our foolishness, and help us to humbly acknowledge our need for you so that we may seek you each and every day. Thank you for always being present with us. For we offer our prayer to you in the strong name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior. Amen.
