Children’s Ministry at FPC…

Children’s ministry mission… to make disciples of every child and every family as they experience God’s love and follow Jesus for a lifetime.

Our school year looks different for families this year. The Children’s Ministry Planning Team invites you to pray for our families, school leaders, and staff for 31 days in August. Please join us in lifting the needs and concerns for school up to our Heavenly Father!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Children’s Ministry Connections

Sunday school lesson boxes can be picked up from outside the back church entrance, August 12-14th, all day. After that, Erin is available to deliver or arrange a time to pick up a box. Boxes are for elementary and preschool age children and include Bible stories, crafts, puzzles and games. Email Erin with any questions: erin@firstpresboone.net

Fourth and fifth grade Sunday school class meets every Sunday at 9 am. The students are studying the Bible chronologically using the Action Bible Curriculum. Students watch a short video story and discuss the topic and how it relates to our everyday lives. CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Following the Children’s Message at the 8:45 and 11:00am services, children who are 4 years – 6 years old may go to Children’s Church in Room 153. In their mini-worship service, children learn about God’s amazing presence and His plans for them through lessons, crafts, snacks and activities.

VBS 2019

Vacation Bible School had children and volunteers gather in the evenings to participate in music, crafts, story time, and games. The theme of this year’s VBS was: Athens: Paul’s Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth. The children learned about Paul’s second missionary journey and how God took care of him and helped him share Jesus with the Gentiles. The whole week centered on God’s love and how it was displayed as Paul responded to God’s call. Truth be told, this isn’t just a story for children, it’s a story for all of us!

REACH WEDNESDAY

Join us on Wednesday nights during our Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring semesters of REACH WEDNESDAY. Families gather at 5:15pm for dinner time fellowship, followed by classes at 6:15pm.

Winter / Spring Semester: January 29 – March 25

Birth – 3 yr olds will have Bible stories, music and play time.
4 year olds – 5th Grades will actively learn about our church’s Haiti Mission work. Bible study accompanied by music, video, science, crafts, games, cooking, and fun will be included!
